I decided to try the Bodum Chambord French Press after two drip coffeemakers broke post-warranty. The simplicity of mostly glass and metal construction drew me in, making it a durable option. The glass beaker being a separate piece adds to its appeal, and the polished stainless steel finish gives it a sophisticated look. Its 32-ounce capacity is ideal for my coffee needs.

The coffee made with this French press is outstanding, free of bitterness, and flavorful. It’s easy to use, and cleaning it is a breeze. However, I wish it had measurement markings on the coffee container. Despite some minor flaws, including the plastic handle, this French press offers tremendous value for its price and is an excellent alternative to electric coffeemakers.
